I want to confront the ghosts that occupy our lives, those present but unspoken. These piece are a call to participate with the spirit of our dwindling forests. Urban areas are built where once was a thriving ecosystem centered around trees. This triptych was created outside in the elements and with the elements, namely wood ash, bark, and roots. Rust and acrylics were used to represent how we color the loss of these natural spaces.
