Current work is bent towards abstraction, with themes of personal identity outside the structure of social and/or interpersonal labels, intuitive creating/creation from the void/unconscious, and the mental/physical distortions of the self due to hidden or perennial physical and psychological trauma. Mediums include sumi ink, acrylics, watercolor, pen, wood ash, collage, herb/plant roots, soot, and walnut stain.
