These pieces explore the relationship between generational history as it manifests in reclaiming and revitalizing what's been discarded. The phenomenon of stabilimenta, spiders sculpting decoy spiders and other structures from debris in their web, is an inspiration, as well as witnessing a cardinal family's survival of a lengthy thunderstorm. Their nest was saved and is included as homage to their perservence. Oculus 1 is a testament to the practice of trust, with the feathers used either found or offered, never searched for, over a twelve year period.
